| BOAT TRANSPORT BY ROAD We are based in Hampshire so please be aware that quotes may need to include diesel costs to and from this location. In practice we would arrange for a back load keeping dead mileage and the price to you to a minimum. The above photo was taken in February 2009 and shows the loading onto an articulated |
transporter of a new sports cruiser. This particular transporter can take loads up to 28 tons. Its bed height is 900mm so can transport boats with a height up to 13ft (bottom of keel to heighest point). | BOAT TRANSPORT BY SEA In order to transport by sea which is often cheaper than road transport, the yacht or boat must be located either at a sea port or inland waterway with access to the sea. Equally the destination must be a port or inland waterway with access to the sea. Also the yacht or boat would need to be afloat and declared sea worthy. Boat delivery by sea from Liverpool to Newcastle would not be viable but from Plymouth to Dover would be. |
